Finding an exceptional natural spring isn't simply about finding water. It is about finding the right water — a source with a clean, refreshing taste, a naturally balanced mineral profile and the consistency required to create a premium Australian spring water.
For us, finding that spring didn't happen overnight.
We had been looking for a new spring source for years. There was one particular property that had always been in the back of our minds — a property located in the small Victorian town of Little Hampton.
Eventually, the opportunity arose to explore the source more closely.
What we found would ultimately become the inspiration for Little Hampton Spring Water.
Not Every Natural Spring Is the Same
Australia is fortunate to have natural spring water sources, but the characteristics of the water can vary considerably from one location to another.
The surrounding geology, underground journey of the water and naturally occurring minerals all influence how spring water tastes and feels.
When looking for a spring suitable for premium drinking water, we wanted more than simply a reliable source.
We were looking for water that was naturally refreshing, clean tasting and beautifully balanced — water that could be enjoyed every day but would also feel at home on a restaurant table, at an event or alongside a beautiful meal.
For us, several things mattered.
A Clean, Balanced Taste
Great spring water shouldn't overpower food or leave a heavy mineral aftertaste.
We wanted water with a clean and refreshing character that could be enjoyed on its own while also complementing food and wine.
A Naturally Balanced Mineral Profile
As water moves naturally through the earth, it interacts with the surrounding geology and collects minerals along the way.
Little Hampton's water has a light, balanced mineral composition, including naturally occurring calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate.
With a total dissolved solids level of approximately 50 mg/L, the result is a light, clean drinking experience rather than a heavily mineralised taste.
Naturally Alkaline Water
Little Hampton Spring Water has a naturally occurring pH of approximately 7.5–8.0.
Nothing needs to be added to artificially create this alkalinity. It is simply part of the natural character of our water.
Consistency
For a premium spring water brand, finding beautiful water is only part of the equation.
The source also needs to provide the consistency and reliability required to supply restaurants, hospitality venues, businesses, distributors and households throughout Australia.
Then We Found It in Little Hampton
After years of looking for a new spring, we returned to the property we had long had in mind.
Located in the tiny Victorian town of Little Hampton, the spring offered the characteristics we had been searching for.
And the name was already there.
Little Hampton.
It captured exactly what we wanted the new brand to represent: understated, Australian and premium.
So rather than simply adding another water to our range, we decided to create something different.
Little Hampton Spring Water was born.
From a Victorian Spring to a Premium Australian Spring Water
Our vision was to create an Australian spring water that could comfortably sit on the table at a restaurant, be served at an event, taken on a picnic or simply enjoyed at home.
That meant the packaging had to reflect the quality of the water inside it.
Today, Little Hampton Spring Water is available in:

375ml recyclable aluminium cans – Still and Sparkling
The different formats allow Little Hampton to move easily between hospitality, events, workplaces, travel and everyday life.
Protecting the Character of the Water
Finding the spring was only the beginning.
We believe premium spring water should taste like water — not like the products that may have travelled through the same production equipment before it.
That is why Little Hampton is filled at our dedicated water-only production facility in Victoria.
Our facility does not produce soft drinks, juices or flavoured beverages.
It is dedicated to water.
This allows us to focus on maintaining the clean, natural character of the spring water from source through to the finished bottle or can.
From Little Hampton to the World Stage
What began with a small Victorian spring has already received international recognition.
In 2025, Little Hampton Sparkling Spring Water placed 4th in the Sparkling Water category at the Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting.
For us, the recognition was particularly meaningful.
We had spent years looking for the right spring.
Finding it in a little Victorian town called Little Hampton was fortunate.
Creating a water worthy of its name was the next step.
